Clara Dorfi
I am a multidisciplinary exhibit designer focused on creating immersive, story-driven environments that connect people to ideas, places, and each other.
With a background in industrial design and over seven years at G&A, I’ve worked across projects ranging from large-scale museum environments to fast-paced installations, guiding ideas from concept through final build.
My approach blends spatial design, graphics, and storytelling, grounded in collaboration. I see design as a process of translation, shaping complex narratives into experiences that feel intuitive, engaging, and alive in space.
As a first-generation American, my perspective is shaped by an ongoing curiosity about how people experience and interpret the world. Travel continues to influence my work, deepening my focus on connection, accessibility, and shared understanding.
I’m community-driven and energized by working with others. I’m especially interested in museums as social spaces for gathering, reflection, and exchange, and in how design can support more inclusive, participatory experiences.
Outside of exhibition work, I’m often traveling, exploring new places, or spending time in cafes and in nature, spaces that ground me, inspire me, and shape how I think about environment and connection.
Thank you!
